My journey into the world of audio began in Florida in a small bedroom with some basic recording gear. It was 2015 and I was recording the band I was in out of necessity. There were countless fails and frustrations I went through while learning to record and mix but I had a passion for it and the drive to get better. I soaked up every ounce of knowledge I could find, wrote down every "trick" I learned about and bought every plugin I could find that I thought would get my mixes closer to that sound I was hearing in my head. One day, it finally clicked. I was gaining new clients, growing more confident in my skills and making decisions with real reason behind them. It was then I decided to create Ayers Affect Audio and start taking recording and mixing more seriously.

Ayers Affect Audio was finally an officially established LLC. The name comes from a few different things: the neighborhood our house was in was called Ayersworth Glen, all the late nights spent learning how to record and mix had a pretty big affect on my life as it is today and I look back on those memories fondly, and lastly, I thought the alliteration sounded good and would be easy to remember.

Ayers Affect Audio has now grown into a stand alone, full service studio. I'm now located five minutes from the heart of Denton, TX and working full time as a studio owner. I could not be more excited to create art with more amazing musicians and to see where my journey goes from here.
